The cost of your parking depends on where and when you wish to park.
The cost of your parking depends on:
the zone you are parking in
what time of day you are parking
how long you are parking for
what type of vehicle you are parking
whether you hold a special parking permit such as a resident parking permit or a disable parking permit.
Tariff zones
There are five tariff zones in the City of Stockholm. The parking fee and the rules for how long you can park differ between the zones.
Please note that it is the street signage that determines what fee you need to pay.

Tariff zones 1 and 11
Encompasses an area in central Stockholm, east of Klara sjö, south of Kungsgatan, west of Birger Jarlsgatan and Nybrokajen and north of Norrström and Stallgatan. The streets that form the boundary are included in Tariff 1. Resident parking is available in some places, sometimes only at night.
Fees apply 24 hours a day.
Visitor parking
Tariff Code 1 55 kronor per hour, 24/7.
Motorcycle parking
Tariff Code 11 13.75 kronor per hour, 24/7.
Applies to spaces reserved for two-wheeled motorcycles without a sidecar and two-wheeled Class 1 mopeds without a sidecar.
Resident parking
Tariff Code 17 90 kronor per day (24 hours).
Tariff Code 30 1,600 kronor for 30 days.
Resident parking – motorcycles
Tariff Code 27 400 kronor for 30 days or 22.50 kronor per day (24 hours).
Tariff zones 2 and 12
Encompasses the area east of Scheelegatan on Kungsholmen, south of Tegnérgatan in Vasastan and Karlavägen in Östermalm, west of Karlaplan, Narvavägen and Strandvägen in Östermalm, Blasieholmen and Gamla stan as well as Norr Mälarstrand up to Kungsholms torg. The streets that form the boundary are included in Tariff 2. Fees apply 24/7. Resident parking is available, sometimes only at night.

Encompasses Vasastan, Östermalm, Kungsholmen, Södermalm, Hammarby Sjöstad, areas around Liljeholmen and Gullmarsplan as well as some streets in Kista.

At suburban shopping centres
In some places, parking is only permitted at the location where you purchased your pay-and-display ticket. The fee and the charging period are shown in the pay-and-display machine.
Tariff zones 5 and 15
Encompasses Riksby, Bromma, Hägersten and Bagarmossen.

Parking discs
Several suburban shopping centres use parking discs. These allow short-stay parking, for example for two hours. See the signage at each location for more information.
Set your arrival time and then display the parking disc visibly inside your windscreen.
You may not display more than one parking disc inside your windscreen.
